  1. Finally worked out what the problem was after eliminating everything, different cable routing etc. The item in my chain which was causing the problem was a morpheus droptune...bit bizzare. I don't often use it so its not switched on, so the signal is just passing through via the bypass. When I switched it on the distortion disappeared, thought it may have been my behringer amp switcher..very cheap unit but does the job or my morley volume pedal but elimated both of those. Lowering the output volume on certain patches does help also so thanks for that So there you have it!!!!!
  2. Greetings all.... Can anyone help me with this issue. I am recording from my HD Pro direct to my zoom R24. Using the unbalanced outputs from the HD pro into my behringer patchbay and out of patchbay into inputs of the zoom, rear switch on HD pro set to line level, unit set to studio/direct output. Sound from the headphone socket on the HD pro sounds as it should but the monitored sound from the zoom sounds distorted. I am using a pair of samson resolve active monitors. The sound distorts no matter how low I set the level gain on the zoom, so with the peak meter staying in the green I still get distortion. I am using clean sounds, so no distortion or amp gain in the patch. Guitar I am using is a Fender Strat but get the same issue with my PRS and Les Paul. Help!!!!!!!!!!!
