  1. On POD XT, I had a similiar experience with U-vibe. I usually do my monitoring sound through headphones and, when I hit the U-vibe, I just get a poor and low tone. It's also really ease to feel that the U-vibe does not flow into your tone, I mean, it sounds too isolated, totally far away from your main signal. There is no color nor blending, as it's supposed to do. I've been trying the phaser as well, intead of U-vibe. By the way, that's exactly why I'm looking for a M5, to use it's U-vibe, hoping that it sounds better than the one in POD XT.
  2. HI there! I would like to know if Pod Hd 500x can control my Pod XT (desktop) completely via MIDI. Can I use HD 500 as footcontroller and effects while change banks in Pod XT? Thanks!
  3. Hey, Triryche! Thanks for the response! Yes, my headphones are conected to the PODxt. On that screen shot, the empty track is nº1, that is ready for my guitar signal. 2º track contains the backing track. If I hit the record button, the first track starts to write, and I can perfectly hear everything. However, when I open the audio record, only the guitar signal was recorded.
  4. This is my screen shot. I'm sure you guys will see some mistakes, but I'm still learning how to use a software like that! Thanks for support! Take care,
  5. I'm monitoring through headphones. I plug usb cable from POD XT to PC, open Reaper software, insert two new tracks, draging the backing to one of them. Then, as TheRealZap suggested, I turn on monitoring audio, but nothing changed. As Triryche remembered, I'm not muting anything. I plug the guitar and start recording, playing normally and listening to the backing. After saving the record, I open the audio file and just hear my guitar, with no backing. I'll try to put my screen on attachment. Perhaps you guys, who are professional and experienced, will see a lot of mistakes I made but didn't notice. I'm still amateur! :)
  6. Dude, I just did, and it didn't work! Don't know what's happening.
  7. That's exactly what I've tried to do, and doesn't work. I record my guitar with a backing alongside, but, in the end, I just hear my guitar with no backing.
  8. Hey, Line 6 fellows! I'm having a little difficult with my recording stuff here. I followed the advice above and looked for Reaper for recording, 'cause I also have a Pod XT. I did recorded my guitar, but I can't record the backing track alongside. I've tried everything, and I only get the sound of the guitar, without the backing that I used and listened while recording. I've watched a few videos on youtube, tried once again, but, in the end, I just have a wav. file with the guitar solo alone. Could you guys give me a help? Thanks! Take care,
  9. Yes, I've tried, but I didn't get the same "punch" clean that Mark II (Cali Crunch) allows me, even with an overdrive in front of it, remembering pretty well Andy Timmons' sort of attack. Thanks for you kind reply, Triryche! I'll be here searching a little more about tone with POD family! Take care,
  10. Dear Line 6 fellows, I have a Line 6 Pocket Pod, and use to play with California Crunch 1 amp, that has an amazing clean tone, perfect por my drive pedals. Recently, I've got a POD XT, but this one has not that same channel (only the drive channel). So, I looked for the clean channel at custom tone, found a nice one and then have been playing with it. However, it does not sound the same way. It seems that the dude took the drive channel of California and put the drive button down to 2 or 3, tryin' to make ir clean. But I'm not satisfied yet. Tonight, I tried to change the cabs, mics, but it still does not sound as crystal clear as Pocket's California 1. Is there any way to get California 1 from Pocket Pod straight to POD XT? Please, help me on this tone chasing. Take care,
