What would be the correct way to convert the files?

I'm sure this has been asked quite a bit before…I know that can import HD patches to HD X models but can you go the other way? I have a few HD X patches that I would like to utilize on my HD Pro. Thanks! M

UPDATE: I messed with the 'outs' settings on the XT and started to get some results. I did have it on 'combo power amp'. Switched it back and forth between a few like 'studio front' and 'studio front' and my output volumes were MUCH louder which was what I was looking for. Unfortunately, they all cut out a lot. So I had to revert back to my previous, quoter setting.

Speaker cable. I bridged the balanced outs from the power amp, not the XT. I should have noted that earlier. No mixer.

XLR for sure, I assume its a balanced out. I bridged them.

Hey everyone, Been having an issue with my maximum output on my POD XT Pro unit. Basically, it just doesn't get loud enough. My patches are at max volume, and my output knob is cranked. But for some reason when I'm playing with my band at our practice space, they are much more louder than I am. I assume there is a switch or something that I do not have turned on? My chain: Guitar>G90>POD XT Pro>Art SLA 1>Cab NOTE: I had my HD Pro in this same unit and never had an issue, thats why I believe it is a problem with XT unit.

Hey guys, simple question. I have been recording some dry guitars for awhile now. But I want to use a tone on my XT Pro. Is it possible to reamp these tones with my POD tone instead of recording them again? Or would it be easier to transfer my tone to Pod Farm and doing that? Is that possible and how easy is that?

Hey guys, just bought an XT Pro of craigslist. However I am having trouble getting started. I believe the unit is not reading my guitar signal. The signal light never lights up. I know that with my HD Pro there are various settings and switches that needs to be changed in order for a good guitar sound to come through. Just wondering if there are some hidden settings or something that I should make sure are working. Hoping that the unit isn't busted in any way. I have gearbox running, the software and the unit are communicating as well. If thats important. Thanks!

Maybe a different interface? Can't see why that would make a difference?

It is not plugged in. I'm plugged in through the saffire.

It is a constant buzz. I was running XLR out of the balanced. I just tried running a 1/4" through the unbalanced out and it sounds better but there is still a slight buzz and it dumbs down my tone somehow. I am really at a loss here. Setup: POD HD Pro>Saffire 6>Mac Pro>Logic.

As it say. I want to record with my POD HD Pro Direct out but I keep getting extra buzz. It says in the manual that if you are going out from 'balanced out' then have the switch to "lift" to eliminate any buzz. I have been switching it back and forth and have noticed no difference. I was going to record dry guitars but there is no way to reamp it with the hd pro afterwards (as far as I know.) Anyways, I must be doing something wrong. Anyone that could help would be much appreciated! M
