  1. meecus, Thanks for responding. It appears that the UX2 automatically comes up as my recording device and speakers in Windows. and I have set them as such in Audacity without problems, but still nothing works. Even when I bring up Pod Farm as a stand alone, I still get nothing. I didn't try the latency correction, because I suspect my problem is that my computer is a piece of crap. I was able to download the software to my son's Mac Book Pro and it worked right away. I'm going to call the support folks next week as a last resort, but I'm thinking right now that I may need to get a new computer. Thanks for your help, though.
  2. I recently bought a UX2. I would like to record with it using Audacity. I connect it to my laptop which has a Core I5 processor and 8 gig of ram. I downloaded the drivers and that all went fine. When I connect the UX2 to my laptop using the USB cable, the meters on the unit light up. However, that's all it does. I get no sound at all out when I connect my guitar. No needle movement - nothing. Also, when I bring up the POD software, Audacity takes about 2 to 3 minutes to load. If I hit the record button it brings up a new track, but the indicators don't move. Also if I try to play a track in Audacity, it brings up the tracks, but doesn't move. I've also noticed that if I try to play a video with the POD software up, it moves really, really slowly and doesn't play the sound. It acts like it's taking up all the memory on the computer and other programs run really, really slowly. If I close out the POD software, the sound on the computer doesn't work at all. I have to reboot the computer to get the sound/video to work normally again. I'm a real noob to this stuff and can barely understand what the manuals are talking about. Any help is much appreciated.
