  1. I am trying to assign a footswitch on my Helix Floor to switch channels on my Mesa Lone Star Special amp and a second footswitch to activate the “Solo” boost function. Both of those functions are on the original Mesa 2-button footswitch that came with the amp. In normal use, I plug the Mesa supplied footswitch into the front panel of the amp with a 1/4” stereo cable and everything works fine. I’m trying to get my Helix to take over this function so that I don’t have to bring the Mesa footswitch along with the Helix. I’ve tried two things: 1. Stereo cable from Helix Ext Amp output to the two connectors on the BACK of the Lone Star Special. One is marked Channel and one is marked Solo. I’ve used two different splitter cables to try and accomplish this. I’ve attached pictures. One stereo and one dual mono. I feel like it SHOULD work, but I can’t get it! I’ve tried the splitter that breaks into tip and ring, but no matter how I set the Helix Command Center (1,2, or 1and2) I can only get the channel to switch but not the Solo/Boost function to engage. 2. Stereo cable from Helix Ext Amp output to front of Lone Star Special amp’s “Ftswtch” jack. Then, I’ve tried manipulating the commands in Command Center on the Helix trying to send “1,2, and 1and2” to the amp. Get no results with this path, either. Does anyone have any advice for me with this setup? Thanks so much!
  2. @reggiedadog - I’m trying to duplicate but am having trouble. I’m using a stereo cable out of the Helix Floor to an adapter that splits it to tip (red) and ring (black). It’s a Hosa adapter. Is that the right setup? No matter what I do, I can’t get both the amp channel switching AND the boost function to work. Should I be using something different? In Command Center I’ve tried all the settings combinations for 1,2, 1 and 2, but I’m striking out. Any advice? Thanks for any suggestions.
