Mesa Boogie mark iv version A. right now I have the hx effects hooked up to the slave out on the mesa going to the input of the hx with the output going to the return on a Marshall dsl 50 for a wet dry set up. even with the slave send level on the mesa on 1 the Marshall drowns out the mesa with my guitar volume almost off.

I'm new to Hx Effects so I may be doing something wrong, it seems like no matter how I've tried to hook up the unit the volume level seems to be wide open. is there a master volume I'm over looking? I looked in the manual but didn't see anything about a overall master volume. Thanks in advance to any help someone could give me.
