Ok I currently use a helix rack and was thinking about getting the hx stomp to use at home for practicing instead of bringing my stage rig home all the time. My question is if anyone had used both. Can I use my current presets from my helix in the stomp. Most of my presets are fairly simple and only use from 4 to 6 blocks. I am hoping to be able to creat my current tones easily and hopefully quickly. Also if it all works it would be nice to carry as a backup to my current rig and also our other guitar players setup in an emergency.

Found my problem. Make sure your Helix Edit is up to date before updating your firmware to the newest version.

I recently updated my helix and apparently didn’t do my backup correctly. Now that I am reloading my IR’s into the correct spots they are not loading. The description goes into the slot but is in a low grey color and not bright white like the IR’s that I didn’t lose. Anybody steer me in the right direction as to what I’m doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

I want to use the top row of buttons to send out midi commands to an external source and the bottom row to control snapshots in my presets. Can I set up so that the top row is global throughout all my presets and the snapshots change still. I have not figured out if this is possible yet. Thanks for any help.

Is there a way to set my external amp control switches to be non latching? Next question is how do I get the led ring to be lit in the floorboard for that controller but go off only when it's depressed? Thanks in advance, every time I think I get it it's not quite right.

I have not tried it yet but in my band we use backing tracks and click tracks. To start and stop these tracks I use a two button pedal that is connected by a 1/4" cable. Can I assign two of the buttons on my floor controller dedicated to this and plug my cable into it. I know I would be losing a couple of control options in my presets but I rarely change more than one effect in each song anyways. It would be nice to not have more pedals on the floor and clean up my area.

I reloaded it this time using Chrome. It appears to be loading correctly the issue I am getting is when i click the icon to open the Line 6 Updater it says "Line 6 Updater has stopped working" I get the same message on the Helix editor.

I have re downloaded a few times. I still keep getting an error when opening the Updater. I don't notice anyone else posting issues so im sure I must being doing something wrong just cant seem to figure it out though.

Anyone else having issues with the Line 6 Updater? I just received my helix rack and want to update my firmware. I am using Widows 7 and downloaded the updater and the Helix editor. Both of these error out when opening. I have reinstalled a few times and keep getting the same errors. Thanks for any help or input. Loving my tones on this thing already just hoping to update the firmware.
