Just got the PodStudio UX2 yesterday and have some cheap desktop speakers I can run out of the headphone jack for monitoring, but wanted to inquire as to thoughts on a different option - I have an old Ibanez bass amp sitting around, an SWX-65. I was wondering if by chance that could be used as a monitor in a pinch? The amp has the following inputs: A standard 1/4" input, an RCA CD/mp3 input, and a 1/4" FX loop return. It has a 12" (80W rms / 160W max, 4 ohms) speaker and a piezo tweeter.

I know it wouldn't be the best option for monitoring, but sound wise and volume wise, I feel like it'd be a better option than the desktop speakers. At least until I can get some actual monitors for it. Any thoughts?
