  1. Hey Line6 users! I am a proud owner of new Helix LT and having tons of fun with it. There were 3 reasons for buying it (and this eventually led to me buying the Helix LT). 1) Fun: I really enjoy messing around with settings, fx, amps and whatnot. The Helix is so easy and fun to use, even on the unit itself! 2) Lightweight rig for rehearsals: I don't want bring my heavy weight 4x12 (Mesa Oversized...) and full blown tube head with me to rehearsal. I can now just bring my Helix, my Headrush FRFR and plug in the P.A. as well. Fixed. 3) For live-shows have a really flexible and powerful rig but keeping it relatively easy and lightweight. I play in a really loud metalcore/hardcore band and used to bringing my 6505 (flightcase), pedaltrain and 4x12 Mesa OS with me. This does the job, but damn huge and heavy. And the FOH guy changes every show (different venue) so Mic-placing is tricky... With the Helix, I basically have tons of pre-amps, FX, cabs, IR's and so on. I'd stick it in a nice flightcase with my wireless, a patchbay and powersupply. Now for the big "oomph" I get with the Peavey/Mesa, I did not want to stick with FRFR and bought a Mesa 2:90 Simulclass power amplifier. That should be a fine match with my lovely Mesa OS 4x12. And provide a massive oomph in the room. FOH would just get my XLR (with on that path CAB/IR), my MESA'S would get the PRE-AMP path. (Possible using the Global EQ in the 1/4 outs as well) This would be my live set-up. Rehearsal setup would be no Mesa 2:90 and no Cab and just a Headrush FRFR instead. I was wondering if any had an experience with this? Any stuff I did NOT think about? I was looking for more information about the levels. I would of course look into matching all the different snapshot/preset levels. I do hope I am in the correct forums, if not, my apologies! :) Thank you all! Jeff
