Dunno if i sound dumb lol but can u plug the output of pod desktop into guitar input of amp. Would there be any impedance issues and do i have to change output mode of desktop? Cheers

hay guys, awesome forum by the way, cheers. I done a vocal recording the other day using the mic input on the hd desktop and was quite impressed with the dry vocal. got some good feedback from muso friends in regards to it after i had used some vst processing on it. Not wanting to get into mic placement, room acoustics, type of mic etc... but whats ur thoughts on the mic pre , quality wise etc, cant seem to find much comments about the pre over the net. Ive been looking at the focusrite scarlett 6i6 as i just sold my mbox 3 (which i thort was overrated and crap drivers which drove me insane) so i can spdif the pod hd if i need or analogues out whilst using the focusrite pres, heard good things bout the scarlett and i want another toy lol, cheers

ive used the pod converter before and has never worked on my computer for some reason. i just renamed the file to .hbe and worked a charm bro. Cheers

hay guys, im using reaper to record the pod desktop. i assign input 1 and input 2 to separate tracks but both tracks record the same sound at once. id like to separate the vocal and guitar for mixing reasons. ive never had this problem with other interfaces, thanx heaps

hay guys, just curious about whether anyone has hooked up an external mic pre via the mic input on pod hd desktop. I m not after a big spiel on connections, mic pres etc etc, just wondring if its worth doing for the sake of sound quality. cheers in advance
