Hello - I've been working on a Windows 7 PC for gods know how long, using a Line6 UX2 Pod as my interface for guitars/vocals and recording on Cubase LE5 (yep, I just worked with what I could and stuck with it). I had to upgrade and to make things easier for working with my band and to finally expand how I can present work, so I opted for a new iMac (2024) with Logic on it. My thought was to get my trusty Apple USB adapter and plug the Pod into the back and away we go (once I've got my head around Logic). Nope - just the red flashing lights when I plug it in. I'm not massively tech savvy so I just presumed I could plug it in and drivers would be found etc (like what happens with a lot of stuff). Can the Pod work with the new iMac or is it time to buy a new interface - I've been looking at a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen. Any advice - shops seem to be not very forthcoming... Thank you :)
