  1. Help! Recently bought Helix LT and I've set up various presets with amps and effects etc etc ....BUT - I want to be able to use the expression pedal solely as a wah pedal for all presets but can't figure that out. Anyone have a simple step by step instruction for achieving this? I want to use it just like a free standing wah would be used i.e. pressing the toe down to switch the wah on and off. All I can see is reference to toggling between volume and wah. Can't believe its not possible on such an advanced piece of technology. Serious oversight by Line 6 if not. Cheers
  2. Thanks to all for the advice - its really helped I'm starting to make things work much better now and am working through the features - just needs time and concentration I guess..........not got much of either mind :-) Cheers
  3. Thanks for reply - looks like you found me out :-) ....dazed and confused here. I've been to used to the simple world of plugging a pedal board into a valve amp! Found the sections you mentioned and this seems to help. I just need to go in a darkened room, study the manual properly (told you I was impatient) and work it out. Cheers
  4. Got the Helix a couple of weeks ago to explore an alternative to my normal valve amp/cab and pedal board. I'm already confused and losing enthusiasm to keep going. I'm impatient and want to just crack on using it live and so am yet to be convinced such a complex peice of kit is right for me At this stage I don't want to set up presets for each song on our set list but rather set up maybe 3 or 4 amp/cab presets to cover clean/break up/crunch and then be able to switch various individual effects boosts, overdrives, modulation etc in and out as I need them. In other words use it like a pedal board but using the amp/cab settings in the Helix. Can't seem to find anything yet in Line 6 manual that covers this I know the way I want to use it is probably missing out on a lot of the features - but one step at a time. Any (simple) advice?

  6. I want to able to use my Firehawk through front end of an amp (and so select 'no amp' in the app) and then use the amps just at break up. i want to then just use the FS1 to FS5 as my pedals to add other effects. I can't figure out how to save the settings I've assigned to each FS. This also happens when I use one of the built in amp models assigned to a User bank and then try to assign and keep the various selections on each of the FS locations. Am i missing something? Paul
