OK, as it turns out the IRs DID restore so that wasn't it. So what I did was do a restore from an older backup and now it's back to normal!!!! Thank GOD!! So I made a new backup today and everything seems to be working normal again. I'm just going to leave it "as is" and not update to 2.5 at this time! Thanks for all your help with troubleshooting!

That is possible, I did have an IR there that didn’t get restored. IRs are saved when you do a backup right? I can just restore it from the latest backup?

OK, I did all the steps you listed in the post above and my patches are still all screwed up. I don't understand what this thing did. I even tried restoring back to a backup I did last month and same results. When I look at some of my settings they are weird....for example when I look at the distance that the mic is from the speaker cabinet, it says it's at 2.3"......you can't even naturally select that....you can select 2.0" or 2.5" but not in between. All my patches are equally screwed up and sound really harsh and nasty. I'm now on POD Edit 2.0 and Firmware Version 2.01. Any help would be appreciated!

I just did a factory reset, then restored from my backup and NO LUCK. Patches are still all screwed up. It's like all the parameters changed with the firmware update. Is there a way to roll back to the previous firmware version then restore from backup?? I was able to download the previous Firmware version from the Line 6 Website but how do you install it?

After installing the 2.5 firmware update, all my patches sound like crap now. I spent countless hours over years tweaking and perfecting my patches and in one update it screwed them all up. I dug into what changed on my patches and it's everything.....every parameter is now at different settings and I have no idea how to get it back.....years of work gone. I am needless to say PISSED!!!! Has anyone else had a similar experience?? Is there anyway to restore my pod go back to the previous firmware version and restore my patches? Thanks for any help!
