Hello all, I am running an HD500 4 cable method into Marshall DSL40C. I have also incorporated a Chorus and Super Shifter into the pods fx loop all this works great. I can use amp models on pod or I have a couple of fx only pathes to use with the marshall amp per Jim Reynolds instructions.( a wealth of info this guy is!!) Now I want to add a few effect pedals in front to use when I am on the DSL, Compression, distortion ect., but when I do this the pedals don't sound right. Is there something I am missing? Should I get an A/B switcher A = pod, B= pedals? I was hoping to use some of those along with pod modeled amps like the pedals in fx loop.
