alienux - I've already went through the HD500 setup screens and adjusted the settings you described. My question relates to the tone and volume controls on my amp. I've seen posts about other multi-effects processors that recommend certain settings (i.e., treble at 0, mids at 12 o'clock, etc); I wondered if there was something similar with the HD500. Charlie - Thanks. I didn't know if one would sound appreciably better than the other. I'll stick to the headphone jack on the amp; one less cable trying to grab my feet that way.

I have a HD500 and a Marshall MG15CFX (I know, I know - I'm saving for something better down the road). I know enough to set the amp on its clean channel with no effects so the HD500 can do the work but do the other amp settings make a difference? Also, when using headphones, should I plug into the amp or the HD500? Thanks guys.
