  1. i don't think it will ever be fixed now since the helix and hx pedals have been released and the m line is most likely going to be phased out completely. i bought an hx stomp hoping it would be better/smaller/more effects/more presets but there was such a latency in switching program presets that i promptly sent it back and decided to stick with my m9. my latest solution, which i switched to some time ago, is to simply always have a delay on in the m9 or m5 as last in the chain and to control the effect mix with an expression pedal. this way the volume jump is always there and i can just fade in the mix of the delay if i want. i hope that at sometime they'll fix the latency problem in the hx stomp so i can switch to that eventually. having only 24 presets is a bit skimpy, luckily i can switch fx on and off or change fx in the presets with my g lab using cc's. this gives me more possibilities per preset.
  2. on my m9 i always just call up scenes on my g-lab gsc with midi program changes so i can compensate by using a volume pedal in one of the slots with a fixed reduction on the presets that have a boost. but like i mentioned earlier on my smaller m5 board i can't do this. for now i'm using a volume pedal at the end of my chain and reducing the boost manually when needed.
  3. i have the same problem. on my m9 i just use a volume pedal preset as the last effect with a set volume reduction to compensate for the boost. but on my m5 that i use on my smaller board it's a pain. i use the m5 as the last in my signal chain and call up presets with midi program changes on my g-lab gsc3 and then fade them in or out with an expression pedal. here the volume boosts i've noticed are on the delay and panner. all the wahs, harmony, synth, etc. are much quieter. an update that would solve this would be great!
