  1. I realize this is probably a noob question, but is there any way to utilize the HD400 as an amp head? I was looking at purchasing a Mesa/Boogie or Fender cabinet and didn't know if I could run the POD into the back of the cabinet by itself, or if I needed to purchase an amp head or combo amp.
  2. First, my apologies if this post already exists. It's been a while since I have utilized my POD HD400, but I hooked it up to my laptop last night via the USB cable. However, when I try and play, no sound is emitted from the laptop speakers. Basically, I would like to listen to the sounds as I work in POD Edit. Shouldn't I be able to hear through my laptop speakers or when I plug in headphones directly to the laptop (is sound transmitted through the USB cable)? Starting off, I ensured that the volume was up on the laptop as well as on my guitar and the Pod. I synced it with the Line 6 Monkey and made sure that everything was up to date with the latest drivers, etc. I've played around with the Sound settings (Control Panel>Sound), and made sure Line 6 Pod was selected on the recording tab, and that computer speakers were selected on the Playback tab. I cannot figure out why sound is not being transmitted.
