Turn off input pad? Interesting! I thought about adjusting string volume but that wouldn't change volume of jtv when using own pickups, but as a last resort that was gonna be the plan! What other options are there when turning off input pad? I don't no much about it other than a lot of people recommend having it on. You mentioned inserting gain block, I'm assuming that would have to be in every patch? is there a way to have it turn on/off automatically depending which guitar used or would it have to be done manually every time you change patch? I was thinking maybe using global eq to boost volume when using 1/4" then turning global eq off if using variax.

I'm wanting to switch between using normal guitar using 1/4 jack, and my jtv using vdi cable, but using same patches. my problem is that the jtv is much louder. Is there any way to turn up the 1/4 jack level or turn down the vdi input to level them so the volumes are the same no matter which guitar I use?
