  1. I am getting the runaround from support. They keep saying: "the FBV Express MKII uses class compliant 'plug and play' drivers that are already installed as part of MAC OS X" I respond by saying: "I understand that the FBV Express MkII uses the Mac OSX class compliant drivers and Apple maintains these drivers. However, Line6 is responsible for maintaining the firmware of the FBV Express MkII. Will the firmware be tested and updated to support wake from sleep on OS X 10.10?" Maybe the FBV Express MKII is no longer a supported product and Line6 has no intention of supporting OS X 10.10 ? Of course this is Line6's decision to decide what OS's they support, I only wish they would update information on their website, so potential buyers are informed before they buy. Otherwise I am very happy with the pedal.
  2. I use the FBV Express MKII as a USB foot controller for Logic Pro X. Setup was straight forward and I was really happy with FBV Express MKII. BTW the whole idea of a foot-switch was to speed up workflow, However, when I came back to my Mac and woke it from sleep all the other devices reconnected, but the FBV Express MKII failed to reconnect. I did a whole bunch of troubleshooting but the end result is the only way to get the FBV Express MKII to reconnect is to manually disconnect and reconnect the USB cable. I opened a support ticket, the support person implied that the inability to reconnect after sleep was not a bug and Line 6 won't be doing anything to fix it. I have sent a response asking for a clarification. Given that it is 2014, and the FBV Express MKII is a current product, reconnecting after sleep is expected functionality. I also pointed out that my 14 year old MIDI interface can still reconnect after sleep as can my MIDI controller and audio interface etc. I will update this thread as I get more information.
