  1. It looks brilliant. I use 2 rigs in different locations and the old one (a Yamaha based rig) is getting a bit tired. My HD PRO can go to replace it and i can have a new toy. The routing options look good. The PROs pitch shift sound breaks down too easily so I've had to use a TC Gmaj2 to take some of the duties as it's pitch shift is better. I'm wondering how much Yamaha influence there is?I've only had great experiences with Yamaha gear.
  2. Hi all, Was at the local music store the other day and looking over these alesis active speakers. While they're probably at the low end of the market I was wondering if anyone has used them directly out of the HD pro? Lugging around a big Fender amp + HD + TC Gm2 is a pain and just looking at an easily transportable option for a bit of occasional light gigging. I liked that they only use a single power source for the two speakers. Toodles. DT
  3. There's probably a really simple soluion but I don't know it. Getting to know the looper in the HD Pro and whatever i try, there is a volume drop with playback. I have the latest update and i'm using the looper in the post position so i can overdub with different patches. Any hints. Also just learning the mysterious art of EQ. It is a powerfull weapon indeed. Can make a poor patch come alive and vice-versa. Any experts have any tips for a newcomer to descent EQ. DT
  4. Thanks Christoph, That's what i'm discovering. Instead of having a patch for a section of a song and having multiple patches per song and filling a setlist, I'm starting to re-do a lot of presents into one patch with changes within it using the 5-8 instead of ABCD. This will allow more efficient use of a setlist, better use of he global setting and mapping inthe amp with patch changes also from the FS. Interesting times discovering how to get devices to talk to each other, but I'm reaching the too many choices point.
  5. Thanks Rewolf, The POD certainly can do 99% of the work, I was more just exploring what was possible as I've never linked multiple MIDI devices other than a simple foot switch. Can I have the global MIDI out as channel 1 and set particular presents to transmit on MIDI 2 so only some selected presets would "talk" to the Fender recieving on MIDI 2? DT
  6. I'm loving my HD PRO. The more I learn about it, the more there is to know.. I'm trying to use MIDI to get the POD to change programs on my Fender Cybertwin amp. I can map all the incoming prgram changes from the POD in the amp but the problem arises when changing setlists. For example, selecting preset 1A from setlist 1 gives me the correct amp settins, however changing setlist I still get the same amp preset as before. I know the POD does virtully all the amp modelling and effects that I need, just trying to see what is possible. Pretty new at MIDI. I'm using the FBV MkII as the foot controller which is great. thanks all.
  7. Hi all, Does anyone have any experience using computer based effects like guitar rig in the effects loop on a pod pro/500? Trying to get some more options with shimmer effects.
