    Is it OK to use the Variax Power Supply with the TRS cable and also have batteries in the guitar? I have an older Variax 500 and the power supply or the lead seem a bit flakey as it cuts out from time to time and I wondered if I put batteries in the guitar if this would stabilize the guitar from cutting out?
