Yes it was under global settings thank you! I actually didnt have anything saved when I updated so I didnt have anything to restore or I might have tried that :) Thanks again!

I'm super new to the helix although I have been doing my homework, but my questions is when I got this yesterday it was on 2.69 and from the start it loaded with the ability to have your 8 middle pedals with the top 4 changing patches and the bottom 4 dis/en/abling effects. The mode switch would change to give you all 8 pedals and 0 presets. Now that I updated to 3.11 I cannot find that functionality. Now its either 8 patches or 8 effects. Please tell me they did not remove that feature?!! P.S. I tried searching this but I am sure my terminology is not on par yet with the helix and forums.
