  1. Hi, I have attached a customtone I made from scratch, and I know its kinda off so I was hoping that theres someone here that could give me an input on what to tweak if not tweak it and shoot it back to me? I'm looking for the sound from the Satan worshipping doom album. While we're at the subject, anyone got a tone for Conan aswell? Best regards!
  2. BigChas52 I somehow got it to work just now, I don't know how but all of sudden it worked, the meters doesnt show any incoming sound, but I can hear myself fine. Sadly I don't have any resolution to contribute cept.. just fiddle till it jiddle!
  3. phil_m, they are not. BigChas52, I don't know wether it is or not since I just got it, because with this UX2 soundcard I could use an XLR microphone rather than the USB ones I've used before. So there is no way for me to check either, really... And yes, I do get sound when I play the guitar and the input set to instrument I did see someone that got it to work by putting the input to Mic 1 or 2 and then quote:"Went into the Drivers Console..." but I can't find anything about a driver console..
  4. Yes phil_m, I just like to use the word boost. Its an sE X1, condensator, and the reason why I try both +48v and not, is because there is no proper manual with this thing so Im not too sure. Thanks for the reply!
  5. I bought the Line 6 UX2 a few days ago, plugging in my guitar and play works like a charm. I'm having trouble with the microphone though. I've tried both Mic1, Mic2 and Mic stereo in the input and I tried to give the microphone the +48V boost on all of them, still no sound. What am I doing wrong? I have a following question: Why is my second input(Tone B ) shadowed out? I would really like to be able to record both microphone and guitar at the same time. (All the gain-knobs are on full) Best regards
  6. Thanks alot for the reply Triryche! But I got stuck at the "Then in the Pod Farm mixer" part. Im not the brightest, yet, when it comes to this computer stuff. Am I supposed to fiddle in the POD Farm in FL or the normal POD Farm on my windows? EDIT: I accidentally skipped Selecting Line6 ASIO UX2 as my device in FL... how do I do that? EDIT2: Got it, had to go to Options>Audio Settings>choose ASIO UX2 as Input/Output and then Select the input in the mixer. Thanks alot for the guidance Triryche!
  7. So yesterday I got the Line6 UX2 external soundcard with Pod farm 2, had a blast with it. Today I figured that I'd bring up FL and somewhat add it in there so I could play guitar and record it. I got the POD Farm in via the mixer... But I can't find a way to play my actual guitar and get it in there. Does it not work? If it do, does anyone know how? Best regards. Edit, is there any other way to record your sounds in your PC? The thing is, currently I am recording the sound coming out of my speakers with my microphone but that doesnt give you that crisp sound that you are hearing yourself.
