I'm trying to use my PodHD 500X as a vocal interface for voice recording.
Can anyone pleeeease tell me what i'm doing wrong?
the mic is dynamic, suresm58 plugged in through an XLR Cable to the pod. The pod sees it and has it selected as the main input.
I'm then running te provided usb cord fromt he pod to the computer.
I'm hoping to be able to set pod as the recording device and be done with it, but it doesn't seem to get anything fromt he mic itself.
I CAN get mic out of a speaker...i've set the input output so that the microphone is set as the input. i'm using the USB to connect, and was hoping to basically just use my sure sm58 as a mic for all things computer voic (skype, FL studios, general recording)
Any help is appreciated.
