Hi. Picked up a used HD 500 a year ago but it doesn't sound good. The tone of the guitar get messed up through the pod, and the effects doesn't sound great. It's connected to my orange Jim Root amp with the 4 cable method. My guitar(Ibanez Jem 7) sounds so much better running just through the amp. Have I missed something that will make it sound better? Cuz when I listen to other people's pods it sounds much better than mine.
