maybe this is the same issue i'm having but thought it was due to, [see this topic "DL4 with expression pedal"], not turning-off/on the DL4 to save a new setting, then mess about & come back to what i thought should be a saved setting, and i don't hear it.

do i need to turn off the DL4, unplugging the "left/mono input" each time i want to dial in a sound to safe? i'm using the expression pedal, heel down for one setting, then putting expression pedal toe down for the next setting, then pressing on one of the switches to store it. is this unplugging the "left/mono input" only needed when first connecting the expression pedal? -
i have the DL4 ref guide printout but when i set various settings with Heel Down & Tow Down and then when playing back to test i don't hear any appreciatable difference. in my mind, this Line6 Expression pedal isn't really working. of course it could be me and my error, granted. i'm here to find out is this a bug or am i setting these setting wrong?
