Flash Memory Update File Fails To Open

All uninstalled and reinstalled but unfortunately still the same failure. -
Just getting the new SpiderIV75, ShortboardII, and SpiderIV Edit set up here. Edit asks for firmware update; Monkey recognizes it but fails to open the file claiming "unrecognized file type". So Edit will not see Spider. Any suggestions?
