  1. I have used a toneport ux 1 for several years without a problem. I use it to play and record over backing tracks from my music library accessed through ux 1. I have used gearbox and pod farm. For over a year now the music player has suddenly stopped halfway through and I lose the sound from the backing track but the guitar sound remains. If I try to restart the track nothing happens and a message, " gearbox is not responding" flags up and I have to quit the programme. When this happens I am unable to play any music or video as any command for sound or video is unresponsive. Sometimes restarting my computer sorts the problem but it occurs again within a short time. I have restored my computer to factory settings and reinstalled everything and it all works fine for a couple of days then stops. Everything on my computer is up to date and safe. I currently use windows 10 but I was using windows 8.1 when this first started to happen. The line 6 drivers are up to date and apparently support windows 10. Line 6 monkey manages everything. After a recent restore and reinstall I downloaded the free podfarm to try before purchasing a licence and it's just happened again. I want to move on to a pod studio ux1 as I really like what I've been able to do with it but this issue is putting me off. I've been visiting this forum for a while now and found nothing remotely helpful. Anyone else have the same issue and hopefully solved it?
