Hi Folks,
I used to connect the 500X to the L2t speaker via the Mixer Control Panel instrument inputs from the 500X feft and right XLR outs. I got a very nice sound. I was told that for best digital fidelity to connect the 500X to the System Control Panel L6 Link input to the 500K L6 Link output. I am using a 10ft XLR cable. What I have found is that I can no longer control the 500X volume and all other knob controls - also it doesn't sound good so I know I've messed something up. Would anyone know if I need to adjust any settings in the 500X? I see the number 1 light up next to the L6 Link if that helps to troubleshoot
I have also ordered an AES/EBU cable to see if it makes a difference, but I was told that if I ran less than 10ft an XLR cable would work.
