No I mean,I tried it that way because I really only want to run delay/noizegate/ and reverb post guitar preamp and I don't get any sound which is why I was asking about your 4CM workaroud. Thanks though,I will keep in mind using the mic input instead.

. Would you tell me why hooking up the bean can't be done like a chain of (i.e) 3 effects pedals. Guitar > Amp input amp send jack > pod guitar input Pod left output > amp return ? This is how I'd do it for a basic pedal effects Loop,what is it about the pod that this can't be done the same way?

Not meaning to bump the post but I wanted to add that I have used the pod HD bean in the 'return', section of my amp (guitar > pod input>pod left output > amp return) as that works just fine,it's just that I love the sound of the preamp of my amp and want to use the gain,EQ,etc. Of my amp and then use fx from the pod -specifically delay,reverb,and noise gate - having those be uneffeted by not running them in the front of my amp. Adding the delay to my amp really sucks compared to the other way around via effects Loop.(I can be sure) So I did try to use the pod as if like I were just hooking up a delay pedal and another fx I want to use by guitar > amp input then Send > pod bean input then pod left output > into return of the amp. I don't understand why that doesn't work at all ? It is set up just like if I were using any other effect or multi effects ? Thanks. I hope someone on the site can help me with this but I realize the PD he bean has been discontinued and I imagine most people hear have the pedal boards such as the he 500 on up.

I have read on the forum that there is a way to use the 4CM on the pod HD bean and was wondering if that works and if there are any updates or issues on the old instructions on how to do it ? Any information would be appreciated. I just want to use the effects send and return of my new PRS MT-15 tube amp with the pods effects,mainly the delay and noise gate after the amps own preamp. Thank you
