  1. Thanks for your reply BigChase. It's kind of hard to see what the difference is. After all, it's just a bunch of wires. What is the M-Audio MIDISport UNO doing that mine isn't ? Like I said I'm not spending another £25 on this project. If it can't work with a cheapo cable I'll knock it on the head. I'll have to learn how to make my own crunching sounds by twiddling the knobs. cheers
  2. Hi, seems there are many people with this problem. I'm running OS/X 10.8.5, and I have a cheapo generic USB to MIDI cable like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/DIGIFLEX-Adaptor-Musical-Keyboard-Laptop/dp/B002MXP6YS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1388874274&sr=8-2&keywords=usb+midi+cable It's connected up, power on, Midi Out plug to Midi in socket on the Pod, and visa-versa. I pressed the 'Midi' button on the Pod and selected channel 'A'. When I run Line 6 Monkey & Line 6 Edit, it can't recognise the Pod. I've also had a go at loading drivers from M-AUDIO which seemed to install, but still no joy. I just want to download some settings from the database to try out on my guitar. I'm not prepared to splash loads more cash on this if I can't get it working. Can anyone help with a solution ? cheers Sirbob - Frustrated Axeman
