I recently purchased a spider jam amp, and I am researching external recording devices with a CD burner that I can connect directly to my amp via the RCA direct recording outputs. I am not looking for hardware to connect to a computer. The device must be a self contained unit. I am not interested in music production, I just want to record high quality music. I have looked at Tascom CD-RW 901SL and Roland CD-2i, and they both have RCA inputs but it is not clear to me that they can be directly connected to an amplifier. I am new to music recording, and I want to make sure that the external recording device that I decide to go with is compatible with my spider jam amp. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
