Left mono output of the HD into the guitar input of the THR? Can I use a guitar cable? Thanks!

I have read that some POD HD owners are using a Yamaha THR as a studio monitor. What would be the best way to do this? 1/4 to 1/8 stereo cable from the Pod's headphone jack to the aux in on the THR? Left 1/4 inch output of the pod into the aux in of the THR? Thanks for your help.

If I want to use the pod HD desktop through a single speaker with one input can I do it and if so do I just use the left or right pod output? Thanks.

I have an old pair of Bose OE2 headphones that I have to use a 1/4 inch adapter with. Can you recommend a better pair of headphones (reasonably priced) for practicing with the HD desktop? Thanks.

Hello, I just picked up the desktop for $199 at Sweetwater. I am currently using headphones. If you wanted to maximize the bean for home use would you purchase powered monitors like the KRK rokit 5's? I assume I can run straight into the monitors. Do I need a DAW if i don't plan on recording? What would you veterans of the desktop do? Amp with an effects loop? Tech 21 power engine 60 watt powered cab? Thanks.
