  1. Thanks radadats, very brilliant. That is better than what I suggested. Triryche, thanks for the comment... My amp has an effects loop. Physically, it will always be in place in order for that proposed method to work.
  2. Hi all... I am planning to use the Pan effect on HD500 to select either of the two signal paths. I would like to control it with a footswitch. Is this possible? I am aware that I may use an expression pedal to do that, but I wonder whether I can do it with a footswitch. I plan to put an FX unit on one path and a modeled amp on the other signal path. The reason to do that is; I want to be able to select either my amp's preamp section or a modeled amp inside HD500. I do not intend to blend both of them. In summary, the thing in my mind is; if I press a footswitch, it will utilize the external amp's drive section and when I depress it, it will utilize a modeled amp inside HD500 Anyone with an idea?
