  1. I just fixed mine: Follow these steps Unplug the USB cable from both the back of your Helix and the computer. Turn your Helix/HX device off and turn back on. It should say Boot failure on its screen. Reconnect the USB cable to your Helix/HX device to the computer. Download firmware version 3.7 from line6 and save it to your computer. Download, install, and launch the latest version of Line 6 Updater if you don't already have version 1.28 installed. (In a failure state, the device will not connect to HX Edit but Updater CAN see it.) Select your device (it should show up in the app) and try updating to the latest firmware by selecting the option that says "Select local file" NOT by selection the 3.7 or 3.6 etc. options Mine worked fine after that. The feedbacker is awesome, only thing I have messed with so far.
  2. Fixed, see my response below. I had 3.6 installed, ran the update to 3.7 from HX Edit. If failed and said it had to reboot. When it rebooted it gave the "Boot Failure. Entered update mode" message but HX Edit could not see it. Googled and found this post. Per instructions I downloaded Line6 Updater 1.28, installed and followed the steps by Datacommando above, line6 updater saw the helix and installed 3.7 (edit: I used the online option, don't do that) and said it was successful and would reboot. It booted showing 3.7 on the initial splash screen then goes right back into boot failure. Also there is a red 0 in the upper left corner of the screen. I tried the factory reset by holding SW9&10 and it said it was resetting all presets, IRs, etc but went right back to boot failure. Trying a few more things but posting now with finger's crossed. My Helix is under warranty.
  3. Thank you both! That's kind of what I was figuring, I just was hoping someone had written a tool to do it. I will open the pod edit on my laptop and use the HX at it on my desktop at the same time, that way I can look at all the levels and more detailed parameters to try to line them up. I only have a few that I really like and that I haven't found an equal to yet. When I got that pot go I thought how could anything sound any better? Man the Helix blows me away with the depth of the sounds. Absolutely night and day!
  4. I bought the line6 pod go wireless last year, I love the integrated wireless and good sounding presets available for it but the lack of DSP drove me to purchasing an actual Helix. I had a few favorite presets on the pod go, is there any converter or any way available to use them on the Helix? I'm sure that Helix is more than capable of reproducing any of those tones, I'm just not real good with building mine from scratch. Thanks for any feedback.
  5. I have the Pod Go wireless connected via USB and have Pod Edit Go installed. The pod shows up as a single input and works in my Audition DAW. I read somewhere that you should see four separate inputs each offering different characteristics but I only see one. Just wanted to get some feedback from anyone, am I missing some other driver? In the drivers there are two additional drivers but they don't have a description so I have no idea what they do and I don't want to install them and screw up what's already there.
