  1. I'd be grateful if someone can help with the following. Yesterday I bought a POD XT Live. I registered the POD, downloaded the drivers and Monkey, and reset the unit to factory settings. I purchased Metal Shop then completed what I thought was the download procedure. License Manager shows FX Junkie, Power Pack, Propellerhead Record (all in italics) and Metal Shop as Add-ons to the unit but I can't find any of the Metal Shop amps on the unit. Have I not completed the process or am I looking for them in the wrong place in the unit which shows the amps loaded 1. Tube Preamp to 36. Variax Acoustic and 101. Citrus D30 to 106. Brit J-2000? Thanks for your help!
  2. Thanks for your help. The metal pack does not come with it so I would be buying it. I just wasn't sure if the pack is compatible with this model! Thanks again for your help!
  3. Hi, this is probably a simple question. I have the chance to buy an XT Live but have to drive quite far to get it and I'd like an answer before driving there. Is the metal expansion pack compatible with this unit, can I download it online directly to the unit, and are there any access codes or registration codes I need from the original owner to do this? Unfortunately the owner can't answer my questions! Is there anything in particular I should check out before buying a used unit? Thanks for your help!
  4. Thanks RealZap. I was afraid that might be the case! Thanks Toneman. Is there a link on there that explains how to do it? I couldn't find anything.
  5. I'm thinking of POD Farm 2.5 with the Metal Shop pack. Thanks for your help!
  6. Hi, I'm considering trying out POD but before I buy it I'd be grateful if someone can answer the following question. The computer I use for recording is not connected to the internet. Can I download POD to a USB and then transfer it to my music computer without any problems with regard to activation codes and registration? Can I also use this method for updates? I've done this before with other software packages. With some it's been straightforward and with others a total nightmare! Thanks in advance for your help!
