  1. Clay-Man, Thanks for the response. Yes, both connectors are tested & good. I did a continuity test between the solder joints on the trem block back to the solder joints on the main board connector. All good, and this is where I got stumped. No schematic, so I don't know where to look next. Also, my 500 model has that little ribbon cable between the bridge and the main board. On the 600's it's different - has 8 pin solid connectors on both ends. I do appreciate the suggestion - made me go back and verify. -srrrrfguitar
  2. No useful suggestions? I'd really like to get this thing back to working. I don't mind having to play my Telecaster, but for the act I work with the ability to have an acoustic and an electric 12 string AND a Telecaster was working well for me. ANY help is appreciated -srrrrfguitar
  3. I recently had my high E piezo go dead on me. I replaced it and the D, as it was always a bit weaker than the other strings. Now after re-assembly, I get no sound from any of the strings. I have been soldering all my life, and upon inspection I did an good job. Removed the trem block and buzzed all connections out - all good. I buzzed through to the connector to the board under the pickguard - again, all good.I understand that grounding can be somewhat of an issue with these. I checked resistance from the piezo pieces to the ground on the input jack of the guitar. All at or around 1 ohm, so I think grounding is OK. I wasn't sure if it was bricked or not, so I reflashed it - no problem. It remembered my model assignments, and I edited and saved a tuning setting. So I think the basic board is still OK. Anybody have any idea what/where to look next? I've been teching guitars for as lot of years, but this is my first digital modeler. Any/all suggestions/recommendations are appreciated. Thanks, Srrrrfguitar
