I am trying to get a high gain metalcore tone out of this thing and no matter how hard i try/even try new patches i still just get this super dry sound. heck i even tried just throwing an 808 in front of a cali rectfire and rectfire cab and still nothing. is there something im doing wrong i am just running this straight into my mesa 4x12 cab with a magnum 44 power amp. Plz help!
I know the guitarist of this band runs his helix through a magnum 44 as well straight into his cab and his tone is awesome. any ideas on what i can do?
