  1. Thanks RealZap! I knew there has to be solution for getting the output to a digital recorder that isn't a PC. Just wasn't sure if the POD HD has left/right balanced analog outs, and I'd have to send L to 1 channel, pan left, R to second channel, pan hard right. SPDIF sounds way more elegant in this scenario... Many thanks
  2. Ok guys, I'm not working in a DAW, or with software - i just need to record the signal from the POD HD into my Korg D1600mkII 16-track recorder. There are reasons I need to do this I won't bore you with. So I'm going to buy a POD HD to produce scratch track demos for a producer and session drummer before recording the real record. The recording device (Korg D1600mkii) has an SPDIF input, as well as balanced XLR, balanced 1/4 TRS, and unbalanced inputs. Does that mean the best option for me would to connect the POD HD to the Korg multitracker using the SPDIF? I've never even seen an SPDIF cable lol - sorry for my ignorance. I'm a little confused on the specs of the outputs for the POD HD, but am getting ready to buy one. Downloaded the manual, manual says look at 'pilot's guide', pilot's guide doesn't seem to tell me, so I join the forum. Thanks for your help.
