For just a brief moment, press and turn parameter you are trying to change with snapshots. It puts white [ ] around number. Now it's snapshot enabled. No need to press again once the brackets are there.

Whenever i diagnose issues, i first pull up an empty preset and see how that sounds. Then one by one add elements, amp being first, to help figure out when the offender shows up.

Make sure the volume doesnt change too much when adding effects. I think some of the default levels of the effects are too high. Effect on/off = same output level - hopefully to eliminate the rare possibility of digital clipping.

In real amp world we do this so we can be in the same room as the amp, in digital world we turn down output and the levels inside Helix may be higher then we normally use.

mixer xlr is looking for mic level. Make sure you have mic set xlr out in helux global. Or engage pad on mixer if there is one. Also set jbl to +4 on input sensitivity. No big deal lowering the volume on the jbl's. In fact having a strong singnal from the mixer and using lower volume in speakers will give you more usable range on the mixer and llikely less noise.
  5. Joepeggio's post in studio monitor's xlr fears was marked as the answer
i dont think those have phantom power.  I don't know of to many (any) studio monitors that have phantom.

reading the specs on the LSR's, select +4 on the sensitivity, Helix on Line level.   the Helix output is fairly high.
