I'm thinking about changing my tubes out. For the pre-amp tubes do I need to have a balanced tube for the inverter? Thanks

I know that there was a topic on this this before, but no solution was provided. My MKII just started randomly changing between Manual and normal mode. I have adequate power to the amp so that's not the problem. Is there anything that I can try?
