Hi Digital_Igloo. Thanks for your help. I followed your 7 steps. Got to step 7 and launched the Line 6 updater, a screen came up 'Select device to update' but alas there were no devices to update. Still at a loss.

Hi. Just tried to install latest firmware 3.11 for Helix lt. It stopped and told me to switch helix off and on again. I did and this has happened "Boot Failure, Entered Update Model" What can I do? Brian.
