I can record the Pod Go with Reaper and play back the recorded audio with powered speakers connected to the Main Out Right and Left outputs, but cannot get any recorded audio to output from the Amp Out output to the power amp input of my Boss Katana. The Amp Out output works fine when playing a guitar with Pod Go, it is just the recorded output of Reaper that won't use the Amp Out output. I have the Pod ASIO selected in Reaper, and again, everything is working just fine except for the Amp Out output of recorded Reaper audio. Is there some setting that will make the Amp Out work with Reaper recorded audio, or is this not possible with the Pod Go?

I believe the suggestion above solved the problem. In Windows 10 Device Control I disabled all sound drivers except the POD ASIO driver. I used the HD500 and Reaper for a few hours this afternoon without a crash/freeze. It would only go for a few minutes without crashing before I did this. Thanks for the tip.

I have always selected the Line6 ASIO driver in Reaper. When the computer boots up the Line6 ASIO driver is the default sound I/O driver. I don't know how to keep it from being the default driver, but will research that and try the suggestion of only having the Line6 ASIO driver active in Reaper. My desktop computer is dedicated to HD edit, Reaper, etc. so I never disconnect, shut off the POD, so the disconnect issue is not the problem for me.

I recently purchased a new desktop computer and laptop computer. Both are running Windows 10. I also purchased the latest version of Reaper ( I have used Reaper for a few years, but needed to pay for the latest upgrade). My HD500 is working fine standalone with both the laptop and desktop, but both will crash within a few minutes (blue screen of death) if I open Reaper and begin recording. Reaper seems to work ok if I use a digital mixer for a sound input to reaper (digital mixer uses a driver other than the POD asio driver). I have the latest downloads of all the HD500 driver, firmware, editor, etc. and have the latest version of Reaper. I experienced a few crashes with my older computers and previous versions of Reaper, but it was still workable. With the new computers and new version of Reaper, it crashes within a few minutes, making it totally unusable. I believe others have experienced this problem, but haven't found where there is a definitive solution. Any suggestions on what to look for? If this is now unique to me, I will turn in a repair ticket.
