  1. It is set on Return and I just tried toggling it back and forth, but still having the same problem. I'll keep plugging away at it. Thank you for your help
  2. With FX Loop L is not toggling off when I engage FX Loop R, but the send going to the Helios input seems to be cut, meaning everything is going only the effects return of the Helios when I turn on FX Loop R.
  3. rd2rk - Forgive my ignorance but I'm not sure I understand what I'm doing different to how you describe the wiring. The reason I want the volante "inside" the Stomp is to be able to use a reverb block after it which I wouldn't be able to do if I put it between the Stomp and Helios return.
  4. Here is the signal path. Guitar is going to Stomp L input. From the Stomp L main output to the effects return of a Bogner Helios. From the effects send of the Helios to the Stomp's L return. I'm using a Stereo Y cable from the Stomp's Send with the left side going to the Helios input, and the right side going to the input of a Strymon Volante. The output of the Volante is going to the right return of the Stomp. RD2RK - Yes I have both the FX Loop L block and the USDN block on the same footswitch (if the USDM is on then the FX Loop L is off and vice versa) phil_m - I would like to leave FX Loop R on all the time and just the Volante footswitch to toggle on and off
  5. Yes I'm using a stereo Y cable coming from the stomp's send. The signal flow within the Stomp is Red Comp - FX Loop L - US Double Norm preamp - FX Loop R. When I engage FX Loop R it seems to cut the Send From FX Loop L. Meaning the signal is going straight to the Amp's loop and bypassing the preamp, so if I engage FX Loop R, my amp won't change channels nor do the EQ controls work. I have the FX Loop L set off when the US Double Norm preamp is engaged, and vice versa when it's on. Even if FX Loop L is on, engaging FX Loop R still seems to cut the send from FX Loop L. Hope this makes sense
  6. Hi thanks for the reply. Yes I used both FX Loop Blocks, one L and one R, and the Return type is set to RETURN. Still messing around with it but so far no luck.
  7. Has anybody tried running the HX Stomp in 4CM while also running an external pedal in the loop as well? As I understand it, the Stomp's loop is dual mono or one stereo loop. What I'd like to do is use one side for 4CM and the other side to use an external delay pedal I have. I've been trying to do it but not having much luck. At first there were noise issues but I took care of that with an iso xfmr. For whatever reason it doesn't seem to be working.
