Hi guys! I'm gonna change saddles on my variax 600, is it the same process? i mean the same board, same ground soldering. I'm looking for installation guides online but it doesn't seem to exist any.

can you explain a little more that soldering you did?

i actually change from 9s to 10s but i clean the piezo and turned 180 degrees and now its working i hope it stay like that at least 10 years from now, thanks to everybody ill keep you updated when something weird happens.

i just cleaned the piezo part and at first it didn't work properly but as i tuned it seems to work, i will be playing it to see if its solved, thanks guys! ill keep posting any updates on this case!

hi guys! first of all i want to present myself, my name is Sergio and I'm a mexican guitar player who like to play line 6 products, i recently bought a used variax 600 and i absolutly love it, but my problem begin when i decided to change de string gauge, 9 to 10s and then my High E string started to drop in volume to the point that if i touch with my nail the piezo part it fixes, but its just a temporary thing, i don't know what to do and i search this issue and it seems to be some common stuff, i don't know if the part is dying or its something that can be solved, hope you can help me, because the support in mexico didnt do much for me. thank you in advance!
