My amp is making the same noise, like fingernails on a chalkboard. So replacing the main board solved your amp'so problem? Now we are talking about the board with the jack board attached via ribbon cable? 50-02-9308-1 ?

Hello. New here so please bare with me. I bought new a Spider 3 iii 75 around four years ago and lightly useit. I went to plug in and soon as I did the amp made a squealing sound, like someone running their fingernails across a chalkboard. I tried a different cord, no change. I tried plugging in just the cord, same. I pulled out the head and inspected. I didn't see anything burnt or loose. I really enjoyed this amp. Anyone else experience this problem? Thanks in advance.
