I have been experiencing trouble with my new Line6 Spider since it arrived. The amplifier is quiet when I turn it on. When I plug the cable in I hear a lot of hum. The hum continues when I connect the guitar to the cable. Changing the knobs affects the tone of the hum, but does not eliminate it. I did a factory reset, but it the hum remains. Am I doing something wrong? Is it dead?
