Will this unit work: Line 6 RJ45 to USB I/O for Variax Workbench I promise this is my last inquiry.

Thank you for the quick reply! My next question is: Where can I get a Variax USB interface? Does Line 6 sell them? I've already read everything on performing the reset, I just need to get the correct gear to perform it.

I purchased a Variax 500 used from Guitar Center. It works fine, except that the previous owner wrote some strange and completely unusable alternate tunings over some of the guitar models. I've hooked the guitar through a Variax cable to a POD HD500X and from the USB into my computer. Line 6 Monkey doesn't recognize the guitar. I do not have the USB interface that is supposed to come with the guitar. I can't download Workbench, for unknown reasons. I am completely new to this and I have no idea what I am supposed to do to reset this guitar. I can't find the USB interface available anywhere. I love the usable sounds the guitar produces, but I'm at a complete loss. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
