Spider IV 15 - Unwanted Volume Boost

Having a little problem with my new (as in arrived on Tuesday), Spider IV 15. When changing between channels, there seems to be an instant increase in volume. Slightly moving the Channel Volume returns the output volume to "normal". Is this normal behaviour? Thanks Fat_Boab
