The DI on the Spider IV is really a STEREO headphone out.. We were running it direct into the mixer for gigs (1/4") and it sounded pretty good but something just wasn't right.... Unless your taking the signal out of the DI with a TRS "Y" splitter and running 2 separate signals to either 2 separate channels (or a stereo input) on the mixer, you're only getting half of the sound (it is stereo)... If the Spider IV 75 is a "mono" amp and has a single amplifier, is the Spider IV 150 a "stereo" amp with 2 amplifiers (one for each channel)? So basically, the Spider IV 75 and 150 are the same preamp/processor with the difference being that the 150 has an extra amp and speaker?

Is the Spider IV essentiallly the same as the 150 minus the extra amp and speakers?
